President 2011

David was elected PRESIDENT in May 2011. He succeeded Helen Worladge.
He retired from Camelot Rise PS. in 1998.
David has amassed lots of industrial and financial experiences during his career and is well informed about current issues in schools and the industrial / political environment.
In retirement David and his wife Susan love travelling to exotic parts of the world. The image above shows David (all dressed up) aboard a cruising ship somewhere in the Alaskan Inland Passage.

Born in Ballarat 1943
Attended Ballarat Teachers' College 1961-1962
Taught in country schools -Goroke, Puckapunyal, Belmont from 1963 to 1970.
Was on leave in 1969 and taught in various London schools.
Married Susan in 1971 and moved to Melbourne.
Two daughters Michelle and Fiona.
Teachers' Union council ,executive and Treasurer during the period 1978 -1986
Educational Consultant 1976 and 1980 -1982
Assesment Appeals Panel 1983-1985
Appointed Camelot Rise Primary School as Band 4 1983 and Principal 1986
Retired 1998 by way of 54/11 resignation.
Temporary Principal Scoresby Principal 1999-2000
Currently on the board of State Schools Relief
Currently casual marker ACER and VCAA
Committee member RVPA last six years.
