1963/64 Toorak Teachers College.
    Spent time in rural schools at Sydenham West, Dunmunkle East,
    a year at Melton Primary,  then back to Litchfield (near Donald)
    followed by Cardinia Primary.

    Transferred with family to Melbourne and taught at Springvale,
    Noble Park North and  Silverton Primary Schools, became
    Assistant principal then Principal at Oakwood Park Primary
    before finishing in 1999 as Principal of Heatherhill Primary School
    in Springvale.

 

     Alan has been a Committee Member for a number of years, including the role of Vice-President and Public Officer.

   He still works part-time and frequently travels to the Darwin area for family reasons.
